What are the responsibilities and job description for the DataPower Lead/Architect position at DRC Systems?
Position: DataPower Lead/Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6-12 Months
Rate: $65/hr on W2
Ability to architect DataPower services given requirements for web services, mobility applications, web applications and generic authorization/authentication services. Create, test, document and troubleshoot new and existing services working with architects and application developers to test. Plan for firmware upgrades, capacity planning, failover and high availability, disaster recovery. Analyze and resolve performance issues. Regression testing, documentation, and organization of DataPower objects, services, and maintenance.
- Experience developing integrations with DataPower appliances(xi52’s).
- Design DataPower solutions and configuration of Web Service Proxy, Multi-Protocol Gateway, Web Application Firewall, SSL Proxy, XML Firewall services
- Knowledge of Web Service standards (WSDL, SOAP 1.1, 1.2), WS Policy, SAML, OIDC protocols
- Efficiency in XSLT programming language and Gateway scripting using JavaScript.
- Experience in integrating DP with Identity and Access Management – Tivoli LDAP, AD, TFIM, OKTA , Azure AD (Entra)
- Experience in SSL and certificate management
- Tools: SOAP U/I, Visual Studio, Powershell
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.33 - $65.31 per hour
