Your Role as a Direct Support Professional
As a DSP, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting Independence: Assisting individuals with disabilities in reaching their highest potential by helping with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Building Meaningful Relationships: Forming strong, respectful connections with the individuals you support, ensuring their rights and well-being are always a priority.
- Providing Personal Care: Helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation, transportation, and other daily tasks to enhance the quality of life for those in your care.
- Ensuring Safety: Working alongside a dedicated team to ensure the health and safety of the individuals you support.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping others and can commit to a 30 hours a week. While occasional weekend shifts may be required to ensure the highest level of care, our team fosters a supportive environment where your contributions truly matter.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be open to a set schedule with the hours between 30 - 39 per week that may include occasional weekend shifts.
- Be comfortable providing personal care and support for individuals with disabilities.
- Have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and maintain state-required auto insurance coverage.
- Be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check.
