Job Summary: The Kitchen Staff assists the Executive Chef in prepping and cooking items. Ideal applicant should be punctual, clean, properly dressed, knowledge of food safety and have experience in a full service kitchen.
Major Responsibilities:
1) Observes proper lifting and safekeeping of items to maintain quality and prevent product contamination, accidents and occupational hazards.
2) Assists in coordinating with Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to maintain product pars and prep lists.
3) Regularly lifts up to 50# for short distances.
4) Operates equipment, including slicer, blender, dishwasher and hot cooking equipment, in a safe manner with proper training.
5) Utilizes attention to detail and follows all food safety protocols.
Additional Skills:
Basic math and reading skills, required.
Previous kitchen experience, preferred.
Knife skills, preferred
Jefferson County Food Handler certification, required.
