In the details:
- Our mandatory Master Orientation program for new staff is Monday, June 2nd - Friday, June 6th, 2025.
- Summer Camp Sessions run Monday, June 9th - Friday, August 1st, 2025.
- We work Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM-3:15 PM (35 hours/week) with an additional staff meeting on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM (1 hour/week).
- Our summer camp operates out of Denver Jewish Day School located at 2450 S Wabash St, Denver, CO 80231.

Desired Skills:
- Certified Archery Instructor
- Direct experience teaching kids archery skills
- A love for working with children
- Energetic and positive personality
- Proven experience as Camp Counselor or similar role
- Patient and reliable
- Organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina to follow strenuous activities like running, crouching, or carrying children)
- First aid- and CPR-certified preferred
- High school diploma
What do Activity Directors do?
- Program Development and Planning:
The Activity Director is responsible for designing and organizing activities and programming that is age-appropriate, safe, and fun.
- Safety and Risk Management:
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers. The Activity Director develops safety protocols for each activity, conducts regular safety checks, and ensures that all staff are trained in these procedures.
- Engagement with Campers:
The Activity Director actively engages with campers, providing encouragement and enthusiasm. They help facilitate group activities, promote camaraderie among campers, and ensure that everyone feels included.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Engage and have FUN with campers
- Run group activities
- Develop age appropriate programming for campers
- Make sure all safety rules are followed
- Treat minor injuries
- Keep accurate incident logs
