Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Stay informed about current research in the field of behavioral health to enhance practice.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience in diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities, special education needs, and behavioral health issues.
