What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Content Creator position at Dream Decors Design House?
We are seeking a talented and creative individual who is interested in pursuing a career in social media content creation and marketing. The candidate will need to be highly motivated, passionate about content creation and keep up with the fast-paced social media landscape. This is a very flexible position where you can come up with your own projects and showcase your creative work.
Core Responsibilities:
- Take high-quality pictures and videos of events for social media and marketing contents.
- Write, post, and moderate all social media posts on Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
- Stay up to date on current social media and industry trends.
- Develop overall social media strategy as well as track performance and growth related to each social media channel.
- Makes creative recommendations to leadership team regarding social media planning, campaigns, and related posts based on company initiatives.
- Able to edit photos in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is preferred.
- Able to edit videos in Filmmaker Pro or other video editing software is preferred.
- Must be available on the weekends to attend events to take media contents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or current pursing degree in Photography/Marketing (preferred)
- 1-2 years’ experience in social media management, communications, or related field.
- Strong portfolio of content creation work and experience.
- Passionate about storytelling through visuals and excited to generate creative, high-quality visual content on the topics of event decor and floral.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Self-starter who can take direction and contribute ideas.
- Experience in video production, including shooting and editing preferred but not required.
