Position Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Treatment Coordinator to join our team. Our ideal hire would be an organized and self-motivated professional. One who pays close attention to detail and has excellent time management skills. They are empathetic and kind and can build strong and trusting relationships with our patients. Ideally, they will also have dental sales experience. This individual will report directly to the Office Manager.
What we offer :
25 / hour 2% commission on all treatment plans sold / collected above $8,500
Paid Holidays - after 6 months
PTO - after 1 year
401K - after 1 year
Responsibilities :
Conduct in person consultations with our patients for treatment planning and sales
Follow up with any patients who do not schedule treatment same day
Organize new patient intakes digitally, with the goal of scheduling the new patient within 2 weeks
Provide basic financial clerical support duties
Create, update and file patient charts
Verifying the patient's dental insurance benefits and explaining these benefits to patients
Entering data using dental practice management software
Generating reports for all activities
Posting payments made by patients
Following up on non-paid insurance claims
Managing late payments and overdue accounts
Processing insurance payments and refunds
Uploading completed insurance verification forms
Monitoring weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to confirm payment from clients and insurance companies
Schedule patient appointments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3 years of Dental office experience preferred
Consultative sales experience. preferred
Bilingual : English / Spanish, required
Experience with or ability to quickly adapt to a new Patient Management Software
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
Compassionate, patient, and kind
A keen attention to detail
Recent and relevant experience working in the dental field required
Knowledge of dental procedures and insurance billing codes
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
