Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our agronomists with various tasks related to golf course maintenance, including:
- Assisting with finish and grow-in work, including seeding greens, tees, fairways, and native areas using various techniques.
- Helping with aquatic maintenance of lakes and ponds.
- Learning Toro Lynx central control systems.
- Assisting with fertilizer and pesticide application, calibration, and record keeping.
- Working with small crews on various projects.
- Participating in turfgrass cultural practices, such as mowing, verticutting, topdressing, aerifying, and rolling.
- Assisting with management of fine fescue fairways.
- Participating in management and restoration of natural areas and sand barrens.
- Assisting with management of grass tennis courts.
