Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. \n- The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons while creating a warm atmosphere for our guests and building a culture of teamwork.
- Prepare for opening according to Sand Valley procedures including inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet guests as they enter the bar area.
- Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
- Collect checks/payment for drinks served.
- Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintain and cleans bar equipment.
- Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
- Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
- Clean and lock-up according to Sand Valley procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- High school diploma preferred.
- 1 years of bartending experience preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and work independently.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Positive attitude with a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Minimum availability: 3 full 8-hour shifts, including one weekend day.
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including the restaurant/lounge and on-course areas. Team members may be exposed to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, moving equipment, cleaning materials, and varying weather conditions. Adhering to safety protocols is essential to prevent injuries from environmental and equipment hazards.
