Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find five world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Sandbox, The Lido, and Sedge Valley. Founded in 2016 by brothers Michael and Chris Keiser, the resort is known for its friendly hospitality and a community of golf and outdoor enthusiasts who have been drawn to the raw beauty and serenity of the vast Wisconsin Wilderness. \n- The Host is responsible for greeting guests, confirming reservations, and seating all patrons of the restaurant.
- Welcome guests to the restaurant.
- Manage reservations.
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
- Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name.
- Greet customers upon their departure.
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
- Maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (children, elderly, etc.).
- Assist wait staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
- Ability to manage reservations efficiently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to dining and bar areas.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for entire shifts.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Ability to follow and give instructions.
- Capable of visually inspecting work areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly.
- Availability for 3 full 8-hour shifts, including at least one weekend day.
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including the restaurant/lounge and on-course areas. Team members may be exposed to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, moving equipment, cleaning materials, and varying weather conditions. Adhering to safety protocols is essential to prevent injuries from environmental and equipment hazards.
