Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find five world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, The Sandbox, The Lido, and Sedge Valley.  Founded in 2016 by brothers Michael and Chris Keiser, the resort is known for its friendly hospitality and a community of golf and outdoor enthusiasts who have been drawn to the raw beauty and serenity of the vast Wisconsin Wilderness. Beyond premier golf, Sand Valley is a year-round celebration of all the outdoors from fat-tire biking, hiking, and kayaking to ice hockey, skating, or a guided cold plunge. The resort now features a 13,000-square-foot Tennis Center with 16 grass tennis courts and the eleventh Court Tennis facility in the United States. Alongside soul-stirring golf and outdoor exploration, Sand Valley offers a variety of savory dining venues showcasing globally inspired and rustic Wisconsin cuisine.

• The Server is responsible for greeting and serving food and/or beverages to patrons while creating a warm atmosphere for our guests and building a culture of teamwork.

• Provide immediate attention to all patrons/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
• Fill glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answer questions and suggest menu items.
• Take patron/guest food and/or drink orders.
• Turn orders into kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
• Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person; serve from left of the person.
• Check back to ensure patron/guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
• Remove soiled dishes as guests finished.
• Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks and present bill to guests.
• Handle all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest/member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Keep tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested.
• Follow Closeout and Daily Tip Procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-year of food service experience preferred.
• All Servers are required to take a Learn2Serve Training for Alcohol, Food Handling and Tobacco prior to or within 30 days of employment.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
• Minimum availability to work 3 full 8-hour shifts, MUST include either Saturday or Sunday

• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including the restaurant/lounge and on-course areas. Team members may be exposed to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, moving equipment, cleaning materials, and varying weather conditions. Adhering to safety protocols is essential to prevent injuries from environmental and equipment hazards.
