Senior Construction Manager

As Senior Construction Manager, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our future, leading impactful commercial and infrastructure projects that enhance our guests' and team members' experiences.

This role is more than just managing budgets and schedules—it’s about being a trusted partner across teams, ensuring that every project is built with intention, quality, and long-term vision. You’ll collaborate closely with development, operations, and construction teams, transforming ideas into reality while keeping our resort’s unique character and guest experience at the forefront.  This role reports to the SVP of Development and Sand Valley Builders President working closely with the GM of Sand Valley and resort teams.

• Lead with Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and construction to ensure projects align with Sand Valley’s long-term vision and values.
• Collaborate to Innovate: Work seamlessly across teams—development, resort operations, consultants, and contractors—to create exceptional spaces and infrastructure.
• Champion Excellence: Manage every aspect of commercial construction projects, from contract negotiation to on-site oversight, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with quality.
• Think Long-Term: Support master planning, infrastructure development, and sustainability initiatives to ensure thoughtful, scalable growth.
• Be a Connector: Serve as the bridge between construction, and operations, ensuring smooth communication, alignment, and execution.

• Direct zoning and compliance requirements, updating maps and documentation accordingly

• A builder’s mindset—you love seeing projects come to life and thrive on solving complex challenges.
• 5 years of construction management experience, with expertise in commercial or resort development plus an accredited professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Science, or related fields.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, project management and communication skills with the ability to bring together diverse teams and perspectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Experience managing contracts, timelines, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of architectural systems, building materials, technologies, and applicable codes, along with an in-depth understanding of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
• A deep appreciation for quality, efficiency, and sustainability in construction practices.
• The ability to be onsite three days a week.
