Custom Cabinet Estimator

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom cabinet estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate contracts and ensure the successful execution of construction projects.

Duties

• Review project plans and specifications to determine client requirements.
• Gather and analyze data to estimate costs, materials, and labor needed for each project.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to prepare accurate and timely estimates.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project details and requirements.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to maintain accuracy and efficiency in the estimating process.
• Update and maintain electronic records of estimates and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits, when necessary, to assess project conditions and requirements.
• Monitor project budgets and assess any discrepancies between estimates and actual costs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an estimator in the custom cabinet or related industry.
• Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficient in estimating software.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
