Maintenance Technician for Airbnb Properties

Are you a skilled and resourceful “jack of all trades” looking for a dynamic role where no two days are the same? We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to help maintain and improve multiple Airbnb properties around the Shawangunk Ridge area. Job Description

As a Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our properties in top condition for our guests. This job is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys learning new skills. You might find yourself doing variety of different tasks including:

• Small repairs: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and fixing roof leaks.
• Assembling furniture and conducting small-scale carpentry projects.
• Power washing, maintaining gutters, fixing gravel driveways, small deck repairs.
• Performing basic maintenance on residential systems such as:
• Basic upkeep of water, heating and other residential house systems.
• Performing HVAC and heating system basic upkeep.
• Troubleshooting and solving general property maintenance issues.
• Supporting landscaping, gardening, and minor construction projects (a plus).

This job is never dull. You’ll encounter new challenges daily, giving you opportunities to expand your skill set and work on a variety of tasks that keep things interesting.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the right candidate will:

• Location: Live within a 20-minute drive of Kerhonkson, NY.
• Tools & Transportation: Have all necessary tools and reliable transportation.
• Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical work, and residential system maintenance.
• Ability to organize and prioritize maintenance tasks based on reservation schedules.
• Competence in power washing, gutter cleaning, and minor landscaping.
• Soft Skills:
• Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and reporting skills (WhatsApp and Google Sheets proficiency required).

Additional Skills (Preferred, but not required):

• Experience with gardening, landscaping, or small-scale construction projects.
