The Dream Inn, Santa Cruz is actively seeking full-time Room Attendants. Hours subject to change due to business volumes.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Strip all dirty linen from guest room
- Remove all trash from guest room
- Re-make bed, fresh linen
- Clean bathroom up to standard
- Replace all guest amenities as needed
- Dust throughout guest room
- Vacuum thoroughly
- Maintain cart organized and in good condition
- Work carefully and follow safety rules
- Complete any, and all, special projects set up by the Director of Housekeeping/Housekeeping Manager.
Requirements: * One - two years prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to exert physical effort consistent with cleaning an industry standard number of rooms per shift (approximately 14-16 standard rooms)
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.46 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
