About this opportunity:

• Location: Park East I & II, 567 Sharp Lane Baton Rouge LA 70815
• Compensation: Starting at $15.00 hourly, depending on experience, with bonus potential $500 sign-on bonus!!!!
• Position type: Full-time
• • This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends.

What We are Looking for in a Grounds Technician:

• Experience maintaining property grounds, ensuring a clean and attractive environment.
• Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques, including mowing, edging, trimming, and mulching.
• Ability to safely use and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing hazards or maintenance needs on the property.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist maintenance technicians as needed.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily assignments.

What you will do as a Grounds Technician:

• Maintain the property's grounds, including lawn care, trash removal, and upkeep of common areas.
• Ensure walkways, parking lots, and outdoor amenities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prepare units for new residents.
• Respond promptly to work orders and property needs as directed by management.
• Maintain proper inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily tasks.
• Participate in seasonal property projects, such as snow removal or holiday decorations.
