PURPOSE:
The BDC (Business Development Center) Manager is responsible for overseeing operations, ensuring customer engagement, lead management, and appointment setting align with company goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Supervise and lead the BDC team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor inbound and outbound customer communications to ensure quality and consistency.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the BDC team.
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to align lead management processes.
- Analyze data and CRM reports to identify trends and optimize BDC operations.
- Ensure customer follow-ups and appointment scheduling meet company standards.
- Develop scripts, training materials, and best practices to enhance team performance.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure CRM data integrity.
- Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Two years of experience in an automotive dealership.
- Proven experience in a BDC, sales, or customer service leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of CRM software and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
