What are the responsibilities and job description for the VIP HOST position at Dream Nashville?
Summary
The VIP Host will act as a direct liaison between VIP clients and the Nightclub. The success of this role will be judged by the financial performance of the table sales and by the number of invitees on the guest list.
- A timely response for all table sale inquiries and confirmation and payment 24 hours prior to arrival.
- Communicate with clients all policies including dress code and cancellation prior to confirming booking.
- Communicate with Nightlife Manager on anything relating to tables booked, as well as how to make experiences special for clients.
- Run door with guestlist and table list throughout the night. Leading guests inside/to tables to provide VIP experience.
- Have guests sign table agreements, collect credit card and ID
- Frequent interaction with the rooms division and Stateside Management to ensure that high rated guests are personally invited to the club.
- Written weekly promotional plans and strategies that raise the visibility of the VIP experience at the club and drum up new business.
- Facilitate nightlife promotional strategies to present to VIP Team
- Frequent meetings with the VIP teams for feedback from the clients
- Develop a checklist containing all contacts to feed traffic. This will be updated weekly, contacted, and reported by the DLS VIP Host. This will document referral and promotional attempts, questions from those contacted, and plan of action.
- Other duties as assigned
- Manage and update Seven Rooms accordingly
- Weekly communication with active VIP Clients as well as potential leads.
- Assisting the VIP team in key moments through evenings to ensure the best experience for our VIP Guests
- Ability to reach the minimum table booking goals each weekend
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nightlife experience in a similar role
- Possess very strong interpersonal relationships and skills, with strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
