Responsibilities
As a Junior Network Technician, you will assist the IT team in ensuring our company’s network infrastructure runs smoothly. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks
- Supporting the installation and configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Ensuring network connectivity for all employees, both on-site and remote
- Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolutions
- Assisting with VPN setups and remote access configurations
- Monitoring network performance and system health, and reporting any issues
- Supporting IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and deployments
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addresses, DNS, and DHCP
- Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network or CCNA
- Experience with VPNs and remote work environments
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.83 - $28.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
