Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing educational programs for students, ensuring their overall development and well-being. You will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' cognitive, social, and emotional skills- using our streamin3 curriculum model
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special education needs
- Monitor student progress and assess their learning outcomes
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness, and cooperation
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
Qualifications:
- Ideal Candidate has either a CDA, Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting at least 6 months experience
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that supports student engagement
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices in childcare
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in early childhood
- Experience in twos or early preschool settings
