Data serves as the backbone for insights, storytelling, and strategic decision-making, driving growth, operational excellence, and product quality for our games. That's why Dreamhaven is seeking a Data Analyst for a fixed-term position to join our publishing team.

This is a temporary role with an initial estimated duration of six months.

You Will :

Provide analytical support to studio leadership, publishing teams, and external partners to improve the health of our games and business processes
Scope and perform analyses, develop KPIs, and create self-service dashboards to inform and drive strategic decisions
Translate raw data into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs, define requirements, and develop reporting solutions
Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines (basic ETL) to enable analytics solutions
Assist in ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards

You Are :

Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and enjoy solving complex problems

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Curious, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

An excellent communicator who can turn complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations and reports

Collaborative and team-focused with a passion for using data to tell a story

Passionate about games, with an interest in analyzing gameplay, player behavior, and game performance

Qualifications :

3 years of experience working with data in an analytics or reporting capacity

Proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze data

Experience with at least one visualization tool, such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI

Familiarity with basic ETL processes and data modeling concepts

Experience working with games-especially analyzing gameplay data, player behavior, and in-game metrics-is a huge plus

Experience in Python (pandas, numpy), as well as Databricks or Apache Spark, is a plus

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting

The base salary range for this position is $101,545 to $169,241 USD per year, which is associated with our Level 3 salary band. The range listed for this position is just one component of Dreamhaven's total compensation package for team members; exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
