Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of residential carpentry experience
- Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling practices, tools, and safety
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Physical ability to perform all tasks required, including lifting up to 80 lbs
- Assist the Master Lead Carpenter with reviewing labor estimates and project designs
- Help schedule job tasks and subcontractors under the guidance of the Master Lead Carpenter
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including layout, framing, and finishing
- Maintain clear, daily communication with clients and team members
- Oversee subcontractor work, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations
- Ensure the job site and client home remain clean, safe, and secure throughout the project
- Complete daily time logs and track and submit change orders with assistance as needed
- Communicate potential project issues to the Master Lead Carpenter, Operations Manager, or Designer
