DreamPak, a leading developer and manufacturer of liquid concentrates/drink mixes is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join the team. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the sanitation and organization of all equipment, machinery and utensils used in the production process as well as the cleanliness of the plant and office premises.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in an industrial GMP plant or janitorial industry
- Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced team environment
- Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
- Must have good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
- Must be stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Problem solving, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning and improvement
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining food safety, employee safety, quality standards and Customer specifications.
- Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Ensures that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and handled according to company standards
- Cleans production lines and ensures that lines are properly cleaned within the acceptable time frame
- Move and dismantle equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation and reassemble when completed
- Cleans the office area of the facility to include, but not limited to workstations, carpets, conference rooms, bathrooms and individual offices.
- Other duties as assigned
