Job Description

Job Description

Dreamscape Learn, a leading pioneer in the realm of immersive XR educational products, is actively seeking a proven top performer to generate new account sales in higher education (HE) accounts within an assigned territory in the US and Canada. The ideal Manager of Academic Partnerships (MAP) candidate will have demonstrated sustained over-quota performance selling big-ticket innovative educational technology solutions to senior academic and technical executives in all types of colleges and universities.

We are seeking an accomplished “evangelical” sales professional who is driven to win large numbers of new logo clients in the emerging market for immersive learning platforms by creating powerful buyer vision and galvanizing senior executive support based on the extraordinary learning outcome improvements our solution delivers. The strongest candidates will be energized by the opportunities and challenges that accompany being a key revenue producer in a truly innovative “market of one” company.

The MAP must demonstrate the skills, experience, and gravitas required to effectively engage with university Presidents, Provosts, Deans, and CIOs, as well as collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, and IT professionals. While being an independent self-starter, the MAP must also work well in internal and client-based team scenarios.

The ideal candidate thrives in an early-stage company environment and excels at developing and executing winning new account sales strategies as DSL builds out its broader sales, marketing, and strategic partnership infrastructure.

The MAP must be highly effective at consultatively positioning business value, managing complex sales cycles, and building enduring relationships with key client stakeholders. Strong qualification abilities and proficiency at structured sales cycle management are also essential skills for achieving success in this position.

If you are ready to join our dynamic team, we invite you to submit your resume and cover letter outlining your qualifications and experiences. Dreamscape is firmly committed to cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace, and as an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from all eligible candidates.

  • Rapidly follow up on in-bound leads and personally prospect for new business via cold calling, email campaigns, personal networking, and referrals
  • Effectively articulate the DSL value proposition while delivering presentations and proposals to prospective decision makers, both online and in person
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of DSL products and client use cases
  • Handle essential sales administrative duties including preparation of budgetary estimates, quotes, contracts, and accurate sales forecasts
  • Communicate regularly with SVP, Academic Partnerships regarding bookings performance, sales strategies / tactics, and pipeline development activities
