JOB TITLE: Program Director-Youth Services
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
Position Status: Full-time, salaried, exempt employee at 36 hours per week
Expectations:
- Maintain trauma-informed, supportive environment for staff and clients
- Ensure provision of services in an emotionally and physically safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere
- Provide service with integrity, respect, empathy, and confidentiality to residents
- Engages as a member of a team of care to ensure safety, stability, and permanency using trauma-informed care
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in human services field of study and 1 year of relevant experience in a human services related field; or Associate's Degree or High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of relevant experience in a human services related field
- At least 3 years of management and/or administrative experience
- Possess the management and administrative ability to monitor and report to the Executive Director that requirements of all applicable regulations are fulfilled
- Possess the physical, emotional, and mental capacity to support in the health, safety, and welfare of all team members and clients
- Computer literacy required
Program Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the Youth Shelter Program, including staff and service provision
- Oversee and guide the Transitional Living Program, including staff and service provision
- Lead weekly staff meetings with case managers and program manager, attend weekly management team meetings
- Meet with reporting staff for monthly Reflective Supervision
- Meet with reporting staff weekly for Administrative Supervision
Ensure that supervisors are meeting with their staff on a regular basis for Reflective and administrative supervision
- Support the Standard Operating Procedure creation processes and assist in implementation and ensuring adherence throughout all programs
- Ensure program environments operate safely, including incident investigation and review, follow-up, addressing concerns/complaints/grievances
- Monitor and maintain consistency, fairness, and clarity when executing program guidelines and expectations
- Model and implement Nurtured Heart with staff and initiate verbal coaching when needed
- Manage and maintain staff scheduling
- Manage and oversee budgets for programs
- Manage program crises as they arise
- Coordinate with HR person on in-house mediation for communication and conflict resolution
- In collaboration with Staff/Program supervisors, document and implement corrective action with staff
- Collaborate with HR person with terminations when necessary amongst staff, including facilitating discussion and appropriate resolution
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Primarily supervise and support Program/Staff supervisors
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Compensation:
- $100 = 30 Days after start date
- $100 = 60 Days after start date
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
