Job Summary:
As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans, track client progress, and contribute to the development of personalized treatment goals while maintaining a safe, supportive environment for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, record, and maintain data on client behavior and progress.
- Assist in the development and execution of individualized treatment goals.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and consistent treatment.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
