Responsibilities
First Equity Mortgage , a subsidiary of Drees Homes, is seeking candidates for an Underwriter / Mortgage Quality Control Auditor
As the mortgage lending arm of Drees Homes, First Equity Mortgage has been financing new home construction for more than 40 years.
In this position you will be responsible for verifying loan production and company operations are compliant with Agency and Investor underwriting guidelines, Federal and State compliance to reduce company risk in the origination and closing operation.
We are seeking an individual who is detailed, accurate, organized and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities include :
- Review of mortgage files for compliance with Fannie and Freddie underwriting, federal and state regulations
- Responsible for meeting daily file review numbers
- Accurately record audit findings in a professional manner
- Assist with state licensing of company and loan originators
- Additional other tasks as assigned
