The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Team by:

• Assist customers with product selection & inquiries. Write up sales orders.
• Pull products according to order specifications. Verify quantity, quality, and freshness of product. Pack and stage orders for the delivery team.
• Introduce new products, suggest add-ons, promote sales & special events
• Build and maintain strong business relations with customers
• Participate in sales meetings, support company/sales initiatives and objectives, and contributing to the overall growth of the business
• Acts as a Team Player and provides support to other areas of responsibility

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years similar experience (floral experience preferred, but not required)
• H.S. Diploma, or equivalent
• Strong Sales & Customer Service Skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, along with a positive disposition.
• Accurate and detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic - Intermediate Computer Skills (w/ MS Office knowledge).

Requirements Include:

• The ability to lift/move 25-50lbs of weight on a regular basis
• Exposure to ambient room temperatures including working in the cooler for short periods of time (approx. 34º)
• The working hours are 6AM-1PM, M-F, and 6AM-10AM every other Saturday.
