Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Establish and maintain cleaning protocols to uphold high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are well-stocked and maintained.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding cleanliness or housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement floor care procedures to maintain carpets, tiles, and other surfaces in optimal condition.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care maintenance.
