What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler - 2nd Shift position at Dresser Utility Solutions?
** This is a temporary to potential full time position - the successful applicant will be referred to Walker Staffing Services. Potential for overtime.
** Second shift operates on a 4 10s schedule: Monday-Thursday, 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm.
Job Description: Level 1 Assembler
Level 1 Assembler Job Purpose:
Level 1 assemblers are trained in assembly of product but have not received certification as final assembler. This associate is classified as an assistant and or working towards certification.
Level 1 Assembler Job Duties:
- Demonstrates the ability to assist in all final assembly positions
- General production help
- Tapping sleeve final assembly
- Ultra-sleeve final assembly
- TX3 final assembly
- Repair Clamp final assembly
- Operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- Build product subassemblies or final assemblies
- Prepare and assemble materials
- Maintain inventory of job materials
- Package finished products
- Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements
- Start up and shut down processing equipment
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Clean production equipment or work areas
- Select proper cleaning materials, tools, or equipment
