Role Summary / Purpose :
In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing valuable financial insights into both the General Accounting and Cost Accounting areas.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Financial Analysis : Perform financial analysis to assess business performance, trends, and forecast future financial outcomes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, assuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Financial Reporting : Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, including variance analysis, and present findings to senior management.
- Cost Accounting : Set standard cost on all new part numbers. Participate in the annual cost accounting process including variance analysis.
- Accounts Receivable : Process daily AR including credit and collections activities and sales tax exemption certificate requirements by customer.
- Month End process : Perform month end closing entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams such as accounting, operations, purchasing and sales to gather data, evaluate financial impacts, and provide actionable insights.
- Participate in projects as needed.
