Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university (minimum requirement).

Valid Arkansas Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s).

A demonstrated belief that all students can and will learn.

Excellent attendance record.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge and understanding of Best Instructional Practices.

Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Proven record of successful classroom teaching or student teaching experience.

Commitment to ethical and professional performance standards as established by the State Board of Education.

Coaching Responsibilities — Assistant Football Coach:

Assist in planning and conducting practice sessions and game strategies.

Support head coach in developing player skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Promote a positive and motivating environment for student-athletes.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of football rules, techniques, and strategies.

Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-
Model and promote good sportsmanship, respect, and integrity on and off the field.
-
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
-
Previous coaching or playing experience preferred.
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is preferred.
