What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney position at Drew Eckl & Farnham?

Candidates must have:
- Sufficient legal knowledge to be a self-starter, capable of taking on insurance defense cases.
- At minimum, 1 years of experience with litigation in some capacity, whether through appearing at court hearings and trials; conducting/defending depositions; and/or drafting dispositive motions and briefs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong legal writing skills (writing sample may be requested).
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school.
The preference for this position is that the attorney hired for this position spends 3-4 days in the office each week. Opportunities to work remotely will arise once the attorney gains a basic understanding of the firm systems and team processes.
Salary will be determined based on years of experience, but all associate attorneys at Drew Eckl & Farnham have the opportunity to receive quarterly and annual bonuses based on billable hours.
