What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney position at Drew Eckl & Farnham?
We are growing and seeking several Workers' Compensation Associates to work alongside established and experienced teams in our Atlanta office. You must have:
- J.D. from an ABA-Approved Law School
- Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
- At minimum, 1 year of workers' compensation defense law experience.
Candidates should have:
- Strong writing and speaking skills
- Proven ability to manage complex cases
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
- Passion for worker's comp litigation
The preference for this position is that the attorneys hired for this position spend 3-4 days in the office each week. Opportunities to work remotely may arise once the attorneys gain a basic understanding of the firm systems and team processes.
Salary will be determined based on years of experience, but all associate attorneys at DEF have the opportunity to receive quarterly and annual bonuses based on billable hours.
