Primary Purpose:
Coordinate and implement activities for the division’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Communities Learning Center (CCLC) Texas ACE grant at designated campus. Assure that students receive educational and enrichment opportunities outside school hours, including before and after school, weekends, and summers. Facilitate partnerships between schools and community agencies to improve the services offered at assigned CASE for Kids site.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred not required)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with the public and frontline staff
- Must be cooperative, friendly, and create a safe and harmonious environment.
- Establish strong client relationships with collaborating school districts and personnel
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Budget management skills
- General knowledge of computer systems and software applications
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills a plus
Experience:
- Experience as a 21st CCLC or After School / Summer School Program Site Coordinator preferred
- One year experience in management of after school enrichment programs or educational programs preferred
- Experience in building collaborations between diverse groups and organizations, working with multicultural populations and in low-income communities preferred
- Experience in grants management, with knowledge in project implementation, evaluation, and compliance; federal grants management experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design, implement and measure program and activities as written in the CASE for Kids Nita M. Lowey Texas ACE 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant at Crosby ISD.
- Oversee youth and parent program activities before and after school, on weekends, and during the summer.
- Oversee proper record keeping and reporting for required Quality Assurance Process.
- Manage grant program data. Enter student and program data into the TEAL: TX21st system weekly. Prepare and disseminate program information and reports.
- Monitor student attendance to ensure regular student counts are met and take steps to intentionally recruit students year-round
- Responsible for student recruitment and assure regular student participation, as defined by program requirements.
- Ensure compliance of CASE for Kids policies and procedures, program requirements, project evaluation and campus-based budget.
- Facilitate campus participation in all CASE for Kids special projects, events, and/or initiatives.
- Collaborate with campus-based Quality Assurance Liaison, campus and district staff, community organizations, businesses, and other program partners to improve services offered at the assigned sites.
- Conduct formal and in-formal activity observation/compliance to each assigned campus per term.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information and CASE compliance with federal rules and regulations in relation to student level data collection
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Networking within team for program development.

- Desktop computer, facsimile machine, and copy machine
Working Conditions:
- Work with frequent interruptions.
- Prolonged use of computer.
- Periods of stressful and challenging interpersonal management
- Requires after hours, late night and weekend work
- Driving a motor vehicle within the county
- Occasional travel out of the county and state
- Lifting, positioning, and transferring materials weighing up to 40 pounds
Terms of Employment:
- Salary and work year to be established by the CISD Board of Trustees
- Ability to pass background checks conducted by CISD and partnering school districts
Evaluation:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the CASE for Kids Manager and CISD Administration (Campus and District)– Comprehensive Programs.
