Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician with expertise in construction and heavy equipment to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction and heavy equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, hydraulic testers, and computerized diagnostic equipment, to assess and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance equipment reliability and optimize performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on equipment, adhering to OSHA and industry regulations.
• Assist in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new construction and heavy equipment as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience as an Equipment Technician, especially with construction and heavy equipment, is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as ohmmeters and hydraulic testing equipment, is essential.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry safety regulations and best practices in construction equipment maintenance.
