We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Underground Utilities Superintendent to oversee the installation of underground utility systems. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and supervise all aspects of underground utility projects, including excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and backfill.
- Coordinate and oversee construction crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce safety policies, and ensure a safe work environment.
- Interpret and implement blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and material tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding underground utilities.
