Suspension of Drexel University's Contribution into 403(b) Retirement Plan
As communicated on Oct. 10, Drexel University is suspending its contributions to employee retirement plans for calendar year 2025 as part of its multi-year plan to build financial resilience. Drexel is continuing to monitor the situation and will share updates as they become available for calendar year 2026.

Job Summary
Dr. Michael Lowe is seeking a Research Coordinator to manage an NIH-funded UG3/UH3 POWERS project. The goal of the project is to intensively study metabolic and appetitive drivers of weight regain following weight loss.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree by the time they start working in their role. This is a Hybrid position with possibility to work remotely a few times a week. This position will start once the current Research Coordinator leaves their role.
Essential Functions
This position is classified as Exempt, grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from $41,120 - $61,680 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.

Job Summary

- Overseeing the recruitment, screening, consenting, scheduling and monitoring/retention of approximately 100 participants in the 18-month trial.
- Conducting data entry and monitoring compliance with the IRB, data safety and monitoring protocols, and NIH progress reports.
- Providing assistance with grant applications and various administrative tasks.
- Accompanying participants during several intensive measurement periods held during the project.
- Getting involved in additional research in Dr. Lowe’s lab, including research on eating disorders.
- Other related duties as assigned
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or relevant field.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- College coursework in psychology.
- Interest in eating behavior research.
- Strong quantitative skills.
