Job Summary In this role, you will support the US Accounting Manager as a function of the US Finance Controlling Accounting team to add financial value to the business by providing accurate and timely financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and all other required reporting standards and gaining external audit sign off. In doing so, you will be building and implementing controls and processes complying with Froneri Group standards. This is a contract to hire role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Budgeting and forecasting for respective balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Debt accounting
- End to end lease accounting and reporting; including analysis of new and existing contracts to determine appropriate treatment under IFRS 16
- End to end payroll accounting
- Accurate and timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and assigned journal entries
- Ensure monthly close is completed timely and accurately.
- Assist with both internal and external audits as needed, including implementing new control procedures; including preparation of PBCs and responding to audit inquiries.
- Responsibility over assigned internal controls performance and process and control documentation.
- Procurement / purchasing, including Goods Receipts
- Senior Accounting Analyst) Training and mentoring junior staff in order to support Accounting Manager

Requirements
The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The pay range for prospective employees in an Accounting Analyst role is between $80,000 and $90,000 per year.
The pay range for prospective employees in a Senior Accounting Analyst role is between $100,000 and $110,000 per year.
