What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Driftwood Hospitality Management?

What you will be doing

Scheduling, training and coaching Maintenance and Grounds keeping Team
Organizing repairs (including carpet cleans etc.), routine room maintenance, installations, deep cleans and / or renovations
Ordering supplies and equipment
Overseeing and maintaining HVAC equipment
Coordinating with contractors and suppliers from all different fields
Ultimately responsible for the care and condition of all property and assets
Continually work in save costs (including labor) and efficiencies

The ideal candidate for this position

Experience in a maintenance / resort department required

Strong familiarity with pools, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. A trade ticket will be considered a definite asset

In-depth knowledge about health & safety

Problem solving attitude

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as Internet systems

Must be a self-starter with demonstrated leadership ability.

Professional, well organized, with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Strong Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Abilities

Strong Interpersonal skills required.

Must be flexible to work as business levels dictate, including evenings, weekends and rare overnight shifts as required.
