2025 Summer Beverage Internship

Guests at Margaritaville Lake Resort come to experience the special vibes that only the Margaritaville brand can provide! We are looking for bright, confident and outgoing individuals to join the Beverage team this summer to be part of the warmest welcome our resort can offer and to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests. Experience is not required - we will train you on the job and we will work with you to ensure you meet your school requirements for a formal internship too!   This position is a temporary summer internship for current college students, which will begin in late May and end in early August (end dates are flexible).   You must be able to work a flexible schedule of full time hours throughout the summer period.  Shared, affordable accommodation is available for participants on the summer work program/ internship within 1 mile of the resort. Shift times will vary and can include early mornings or late nights.    Beverage Internship $6.88 per hour plus tips Learn the ropes in a variety of settings within the resort, indoors and out in a fast-paced and fun environment.  You will work primarily as a Lounge Server at our lakeside pool. This means you will mostly work outside so you must be able to work under the summer sun!  No previous experience is necessary as we will train you on the job to learn the menu, assist and interact with guests and become a confident team player.  In addition, you can learn about our vendors, scheduling, forecasting and other management responsibilities behind the scenes.  Customer service and assertive hospitality skills are required for all beverage positions.    Requirements This position requires: Fluency in English to communicate with our guests Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time - standing, walking, reaching, bending Ability to work outdoors in summer weather Ability to push/ pull/ carry up to 40lbs  Ability to use a computer and cash register (with training) Confidence in handling cash and card payments Confidence in communicating with guests, vendors, managers and coworkers Must be at least 18 years of age for this position.
