ESSENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and may require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
Previous experience preferred, but not required.
Able to learn quickly.
Able to work as part of a team and build relationships.
Must provide, or obtain upon hire, a current Utah food handlers permit.
Able to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security.
Deliver customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with guests.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with management, coworkers, public etc.
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard.
Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
Ability to learn and operate Point of Sale computer system and cash register.
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Ability to operate beverage equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting thirty (30) pounds maximum.
Constant standing & walking required.
Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
