Job Summary
Rumbao Market is a casual, all-day restaurant, bar and gourmet market with an urban energy that puts guests in charge of what, when and where they eat. The service style is knowledgeable and hospitable, with experienced Baristas pulling espresso shots and counter staff who fill orders for fresh pastries and other on-the-go items. From early morning barista to counter service late at night, the team offers sincere and elevated attention to the guest.
Requirements
Flexible schedule to work AM and/or PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages.
Accurately processing transactions and maintaining a balanced bank.
Maintains continuous effort to clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, glass and floors.
Must remain professional in all situations.
Adhere to proper food handling procedures.
Proper knowledge of equipment uses and safety procedures.
Understand and acknowledge proper uniform and grooming standards.
Ensure that the public areas are maintained and cleaned by liaison with housekeeping department.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Adhere to all policies regarding employee purchases.
Follow proper procedure for accepting credit cards and checks.
Verifying guest room numbers for room charges.
Interact with other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied and cleanliness is maintained.
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum one (1) year of customer service and cash handling experience.
Able to work with others while being proactive to service and operational needs.
Basic math skills are needed to understand and implement recipes and measurements.
Good eye/hand coordination is needed to use all kitchen equipment.
Requires a working knowledge of sanitation standards.
Maintain food preparation handling and correct storage standards.
Support procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls.
Understands, follows and maintains all standardized recipes.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Able to lift up to 30 pounds
Able to be on your feet for up to eight hours
