Requirements:

  • An understanding that faith is an important element to one’s healing
  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelors in Social Work (BSW). Preferred: Master in Social Work (MSW)
  • Previous case work experience
  • Passion for working with women survivors
  • Self-motivated
  • Organized
  • Trauma informed
  • Full Time 40 Hours/Week
  • Day time hours with occasional flexibility for events, classes, on weekends/evenings
  • Knowledge of Baltimore City & Anne Arundel County resources



Job Description


Intake of new clientele for C.O.R. Life Development Program

  • Interview, screen, and process new mentees
  • Track the onboarding process

Mentee Management for C.O.R. Life Development Program

  • Orient new mentees to the C.O.R. Life Development Program
  • Build and manage the mentee’s life plan in partnership with the mentee
  • Weekly meetings with each mentee to assess Life Plan progress and challenges
  • Research and supply resources for the mentees
  • Track and document individual activities, benefits, goals, progress, and achievements on their “Ladder to Self-Sustainability” using our online systems
  • Manage mentee case files and notes

Drop in Management:

  • Management of resources for Guest Relations
  • Oversight of casework for Guest Relations
  • Assist Guest Relations position only as needed (Front Desk)
  • Case management for some drop in clientele
  • Transition drop in clients to mental health care facilities, detox, etc.

Group Meetings:

  • Lead Group Mentorship
  • Teach classes for our C.O.R. Life Workshops (as needed)
  • Launch small groups in grief, trauma and addiction (optionally lead them or find others to facilitate)
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of these groups and adjust as needed.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings- Mondays at 9:30

Build Partnership Networks:

  • Represent The Well in various community and partner meetings
  • Build relationships and partnerships with other organizations
  • Build resources through partnering with organizations
  • Share about The Well’s resources for collaboration
  • Make referrals to other organizations

Manage:

  • Social Work Interns
  • Guest Relations (as it relates to casework)
  • Mentor/Mentee Coordination team

Residential

  • Review and sign lease agreements
  • Instructions and walkthroughs with tenants
  • Assessment of need for tenants
  • Welcome Home teams secured
  • Oversight of repairs and maintenance

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Keep timely and up to date records, data, case notes on all mentees and drop ins
  • Update “Active Mentee Tracking Sheet” and distribute to staff monthly
  • Research and establish new database software for case management
  • Tracking data from cases, mentees, demographics
