JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional Sales Manager will work cooperatively with the National Sales Manager to grow overall sales while increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Primary territory includes Louisiana. Mississippi and Alabama. However, majority of sales efforts, time, and focus will be in South Louisiana. Success is defined by representative’s ability to develop new customers and increase sales from existing customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely, professional manner
- Determine customer needs, requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
- Develop a strong industry, application, product, and customer knowledge
- Educate customers about products, applications, features, and benefits in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
- Fulfill prospect and customer requests for catalogs, information, or samples
- Manage self, time, and work effectively with other team members
- Maintain proficiency in leveraging technology, systems, and sales tools to drive efficiency and accelerated sales growth
- Consistently follow all company policies and procedures
- Present a professional image at all times to customers, vendors, and team
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals,
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree preferred but not required
- Two years successful outside sales experience; Pipeline, Oil & Gas, and/or Industrial markets preferred
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience using CRM systems to drive efficiency; Salesforce is a plus
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent selling and account management skills
- Effective organization skills combined with detail and process-oriented mindset
- Excellent self and time management skills
- Highly energetic, self-starter; strong work ethic
- Decision-making, problem resolution and critical thinking skills
- High emotional intelligence with positive mindset
- Function independently and collaboratively as a part of the sales team
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal team
- Able to understand the client’s business needs and solve their problems.
- Prefer South Central Louisiana residence (Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Houma, Thibodaux)
- Ability to travel/cover territory (LA, MS, AL); estimated overnight travel is 15-25%

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The Outside Salesperson will receive an attractive base salary, performance-based commissions (Est. first year total compensation: $100K-150K), and comprehensive benefits package which includes:
