Job Title: IV Clinic Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled IV Clinic Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering IV hydration therapy, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate has strong IV skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. We are specifically looking for coverage of our clinic on Sundays and Tuesdays, but will occasionally have other days we would like PRN coverage. Mobile IV delivery is also possible in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer intravenous (IV) fluids, vitamins, and medications following established protocols.
- Assess patients for allergies, contraindications, and potential complications before administering treatments.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing individual needs and creating personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on IV/IM treatments, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of treatments and outcomes.
Quality Assurance & Clinic Operations:
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment, including preparing and sanitizing treatment areas.
- Ensure IV equipment and supplies are properly stocked and in good working condition.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the clinic manager and other team members.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote clinic services.
Qualifications:Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a critical care setting preferred.
- Previous experience in an IV therapy clinic or similar healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong IV skills with the ability to insert and manage IVs efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Zenoti Med Spa software or other full-service healthcare CRM is preferred.
- Ability to remain professional and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
