IV Infusion Registered Nurse - Chicago (Lincolnwood), IL
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Full Time IV Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team near Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering IV infusions, be able to work independently and MUST possess an active Illinois nursing license. Driving long distances is a key aspect of this role, but you are home every night. If you're comfortable with a 90-minute drive one way to a nursing facility, listening to your podcasts or singing along with the radio, this position could be a great fit for you.
The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering IV hydration medications. The nurse will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. We are on our feet all day, and thrive at the bedside, so this position is a great fit for someone who prefers to stay active, pass the time quickly, and has an ability to connect with residents in short bursts of time!

This position involves EXTENSIVE daily travel to skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes to administer hydration medications to geriatric patients, who are often considered "hardsticks." We are seeking nurses who are comfortable with occasional travel of up to 1.5 hours to reach these facilities (can you tell we think this is important :)). The role is full time with medical benefits, vehicle stipend, 401k, PTO, and much more!!! No evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts required!!!
