Position Overview:
The Manager at DripTide Wellness will oversee the daily operations of the clinic managing nursing staff, including development, mentoring and coaching. Ensure adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care. Monitor schedules to ensure adequate coverage and slim staff when the census drops. Nurse Leader checks in on both patients and team members. Collaborate with RNs/NPs to coordinate patient care. Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Resource for nursing staff regarding clinical questions and concerns. Manage patient complaints or issues, and resolve conflicts as needed. Assist with staff education and training programs. Participate in meetings, committees and other clinic initiatives as required. Keep informed of current trends, research, and best practices in nursing management and healthcare delivery. This role will also assist in elevating the teams and patient's experience at DripTide Wellness through expert care, advanced treatments, and a strong focus on individualized health and wellness outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and CEO
- Collaborate closely with care Providers (ARNPs and PAs) and help remove their roadblocks
- Manage/supervise the daily operations – scheduling/check-in/check-out/medical station processing - to be handled in the most efficient manner on day-to-day basis
- Respond promptly to patient escalations (in office/over phone) and strive to remediate with courtesy and respect to all parties involved
- Organize and update patient records as needed
- Establish and implement effective workplace procedures to create a highly efficient operation
- Update policies to ensure they are up to the latest industry standards and government regulations
- Maintain an upbeat work environment and motivate the staff
Also assist with Clinical Care as needed:
· Administer IV therapy treatments, ensuring all protocols are followed for safe and effective delivery of nutrients, hydration, and medications.
· Support the implementation of weight management programs, including preparation and administration of Semaglutide & Tirzepatide injections.
Patient Monitoring:
· Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after therapies, including IV infusions and peptide treatments, ensuring any adverse reactions are promptly addressed.
· Perform follow-up assessments and document patient progress.
Patient Interaction & Education:
· Provide clear communication to patients regarding the procedures, expected outcomes, and potential side effects of the treatments.
· Educate patients on the importance of hydration, vitamins, and supplements as part of their overall wellness strategy.
Collaboration with APRNs:
· Work closely with Nurse Practitioners (APRN) to implement customized treatment plans and provide feedback on patient responses to therapies.
· Assist in performing full-body scans, explaining the process to patients and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
Compliance & Documentation:
· Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, documenting treatments administered and patient responses.
· Ensure compliance with clinic standards, state health regulations, and best practices in nursing.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or NP license in the state of Florida.
- Ability to create, train and ensure protocols are followed
- Ensure that patient census meets staffing needs or adjust schedule
- Experience in IV therapy, preferably with certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with peptide therapy, vitamin infusions, or similar wellness treatments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
