Driscoll Children’s Hospital – ENT Advance Practice Provider
The Driscoll Health System is recruiting Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Practitioners (NP), or Physician Assistants (PA), to join our robust ENT Otolaryngologist practice in the Rio Grande Valley. The qualified candidate will have completed an approved NP or PA program and must be certified and licensed to practice in the state of Texas (or be able to obtain), previous experience is preferred. The NP / PA will function as an independent healthcare provider, as well as an extension of the physician provider and will deliver comprehensive care to both ill and well children. Responsibilities will include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and coordination of care for patients and families.
Job Details :
- Clinic Hours : 7 AM – 5 PM Monday – Friday
- No travel required post-training
- Call – on call via telephone for established patients on a rotating basis.
- OR time – depending on training, experience, and schedule
- Job duties will include outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, as well as inpatient consults and possible OR time
- EMR : EPIC
- RN & Support Staff
