The delivery of supplies to clinics and all other departments throughout the main campus of the hospital. The pulling and staging of supplies ordered by off campus clinics and departments.

Warehouse and Distribution Technician
- Always maintains utmost level of confidentiality
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Manager, or the Director
- Report any safety concerns regarding the warehouse or warehouse supplies
- Use and be fully trained to use handheld scanning units for supply replenishment
- Use and be fully trained with MMIS system; able to search, find data such as inventory stock on hand, perform a quick issue, and do returns/credits to departments
- Replenish assigned supply areas according to schedule and complete all the appropriate transactions in the MMIS system
- Recommend that supply max/min (par) levels be adjusted based on usage; obtain feedback from department personnel, which may result in a change to the levels. PAR levels should be set at a level high enough to provide a minimum of fourteen days of usage.
- Process daily supply requisitions using the MMIS system. Pick, pull, and deliver supplies to the requesting department.
- Answer phone calls promptly and ensure customers are served timely
- Put away freight as instructed or scheduled ensuring that shelves are well-stocked (work out overstock). Verify packing slips (when receiving cannot) to actual shipment received and report any discrepancies to supervisor.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack and a bailer
- Break down boxes and ensure work area is free and clear of trash.
- Communicate with the supervisor and/or buyer when taking the last item or when critical items are at a low stock level (use stock out process)
- Monitor and rotate stock in assigned areas to prevent obsolescence and reduce spoilage
- Perform periodic cycle supply counts as assigned and/or during the General Store annual physical inventory
- Follows all applicable infection control procedures when storing, delivering, and handling equipment supplies.
- Maintains supply rooms, and storeroom keeping them clean, neat, and orderly
- Check assigned sections in the warehouse for expired or soon to be expired supplies
- Check emails at least once during the morning and again in the afternoon
- High School diploma or GED required, additional certification relevant to the job duties from a college or technical school preferred; minimum six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
